Black Scorpion Project

Tip sled on side to install full skid plate. You have to watch the 1 pre drilled hole in slidplate. it goes right into a bolt inside. So i had to make a new hole a bit over..

Had that same issue on my '15 Pro-S

This is killing me as I haven't even gotten word of my sled :Banghead

I have two of the boys in our group they were told this weekend
(central ontario ) all snow check should arrive by mid November all snowcheck are to be shipped out by 28th and two weeks to arrive they have not received emails hopefully soon bud

Installed Tether and power port for electric helmet for cold days. Plugins are located under the steering panel and inside the velcro wrap. Its nice to have clean install. I cut the top of the sticker for the tether.

Removed the stock thumb throttle. Removed the old wires from connectors under dash. Installed the munster finger control. Plug the supplied jumper in the one conector. Dont loose the tiny c clips from old and new throttle. The new throttle feel great. Can keep full grip on bar with my thumb now..

If you have these 2 relays unplug them and use some dielectric grease to prevent corrosion. Had 1 sled wouldnt run. was all coroded. Should be the waterproof relays. would be a good idea to keep a spare around if you travel far and dont want to have a dead sled.

cant remember if the none Electric start models have these or not

Excellent point. My old Apex had the relays above the left footwell and on one occasion the belt blew and took out a relay. It was a poor decision on Yamaha's part to locate them there because of this reason.

At least these relays are centrally located on the cross member away from debris. Definitely wouldn't hurt to put some dielectric grease there.

Got the B&M bumper back from powdercoating. Welded a mount on bumper for my camera pole setup. heavy duty bumper. The crossbar makes it much more sturdy from a sideways hit. This bumper goes all the way down under to the 2 rivots. Drill the rivots out and use the supplied bolts.

Even the polaris ultimate bumper doesnt go all the way down under.

I used a ultimate bar support. Stronger then stock one. has a extra bolt mount. This bar does provide more support. holding the front nose area. Also can stop something from coming through the middle of the bumper bars by fluke. part number for the better bar

Nice bumper. I like that cross support. The overstructure mounting tabs are pretty easy to snap with any side impact.

Finally got the exhaust back together. You have to remove both rubbers from stock muffler to use on new GGB trail muffler. Muffler fit perfect. no issues. I used a extra spring to pull muffler down just for extra.

Its possible that snow can come down and leak into the air intake from dash through the crack. I used the update kit from 2015. I forgot to take a before pic. The top half sticks on so you can still pull dash off if you have to later.
