Pipe shoot out dec 22

I would assume it will cuz it fits the stock location. The only advantage to the aftermarket canister is weight. The stock muffler flows great , plus it's quiet

Ok, so here's the deal on doo2poo's axys on dyno...............

Bmp head, pistons, shim, pipe, muffler and bully dog stage 3 tune.

We also brought a Jaws pipe and pcv to test .

The whole bmp kit was broken in a little lighter and nicer on dyno cause of forged pistons. About 25+ dyno pulls before we started to put the coals to it hard.

The bmp whole kit seemed ok, but we weren't happy with bsfc's and afr readings being lean in areas with their tune. We piggy backed the tune with a pcv and made this motor a lot happier. The bsfc's and afr readings were way safer and we gained hp and torque by adding pcv on top of bullydog. Win win for doo2poo.

Now, a different test was holding wot on dyno for long periods to see if the jaws or bmp pipe made or lost. The jaws never lost any power held wide open for 30+ seconds, even as engine temp climbed to 150+. It made great power in the first 20 seconds at wide open, and still was climbing. Awesome pipe. The bmp was only tested for about 17 seconds and held for that period, we had to aboard test before we could go any further. But it held for that long too.

Now,to the good numbers part you guys all wanna see,lol

168 hp with bmp kit with jaws pipe held for 30+ seconds (pcv piggy back the bullydog)
171 hp with all bmp stuff held for 17+ seconds (pcv piggy back the bullydog)
This is a very happy and safe motor the the bsfc's and afr reading very good.

The jaws pipe can be held wide open for long periods of time and doesn't loose power, awesome pipe by Greg. Heath will agree with me on this I'm sure.

Awesome job once again!!
Just curious. How much hp do you think I'm at then because I have everything but that durability piston kit. Bikeman pipe, head, and pcv with a more aggressive tune for the head I have on.

Did you guys notice if bully dog tunner made the sled run better in warmer temps like they claim? Is it worth buying the bully dog for my sled and put the pcv on my rush? Or just buy another pcv?

I don't think the pistons make more power it is the cylinder spacer give more crank volume more so more power. I think jaws sells there own spacer also. When it was lean with the bmp bullydog did it det? Did you test any ssi pipes?

Do you think there is any way to tune the ssi pipe so it doesn't det and still makes power? Like these holding wide open for so long?

The kit from any manufacturer called durability/ fix it is their way of selling a product. Is it better? tolerances and materials are what counts, not just cause you advertise it as durability/ fix it. Anyways....

The case volume alone makes 3 hp with any shim kit, don't matter who's.

The jaws pipe is amazing!! You can hold this pipe wot for as long as you want and it doesn't lose power. Greg at jaws knows what he's doing. Kudos to Greg at jaws. We were all amazed at the long dyno pull at wot and never lost power. Was still gaining.

As for a straight number on jaws, about 6, but it doesn't lose at any point. With a little mod it's around 8 hp. It's very comparable.

Brock, what are you seeing in the field?
I ran my SLP stage 2 against Bikeman pipe, SSI pipe mod, in the field and they all ran about the same. The pipe mod guys are complaining about the det coming on.

I've ran my bikeman stage vs a slp pipe, head tunner and got him on the top end by 3 maybe, ran a ssi pipe and head sled and got that one by a 1 1/2 sleds up top. Idk my clutching is spot on tho vs those other sleds.

Would be nice if there was a pcv only map so you don't have to spend over a grand in fuel controllers to make this setup work

Like I said my studs have 3,000 miles on them. His were brand new as his was a 2016 sled. So I had to play catchup but still passed him and was still pulling away when we let off

Thanks Brock . What is the little mod for the jaws pipe to make it 8 hp? Also did it need a fuel controller on the 2016, in 91 none eth?

The pipe mod needs fuel to get afr to 12.8:1 or 13:1. Once fuel is added in areas were needed it won't det. Some timing was taken out up too too. Both 16 and 15'are way different.

We didn't have time to pull bulldog tune out and just try Pcv. We can get better results I'm sure as we added over 5 hp over bulldog just piggy backing it. Only so much time in a day, but people will continue too complain anyways no matter what we do.

It was a 16 model in non ethanol mode yes, sorry can't tell you all the stuff we do. It takes a lot of time and effort(and money) to do what we've been doing. Hope you can understand.
