Black Scorpion Project

Installed my camera pole mounts front and rear. Welded plate on front bumper before i powdercoated it. Drilled and bolted mount on. Fits perfect. Barely tell its even there.

Rear mount was much easier to install. Can still grab bumer on that side if i need to.

Finally got around to testing the tall windshield i got with sled. Its for really cold days. Have to put it on to drill 2 extra holes for each side. Comes with bullet fittings for new 5/16 holes

I only did the outer hole on each side. Skipped the middle one. theres a 1/4 gap and dont want to push that hard on it. Its not needed anyways. Gap is on all the sleds with tall windshield. You can do it but have push real hard.

It looks bigger then it is because i left the big dash bag out. Just put on to test.

Installed 3BR Weatherproof USB power. Used these for few yrs on dirtbike. Good quality and up to 2 amps. charge anything. Im using this mainly for charging my gopro remote. With this bar bag it fits perfect in the gap. never have to remove it to charge it all the time.

Not needed but im picky. Theres 4 grease nipples in track. I wanted to get those rubber nipple caps. Keep from getting dirty. Even if you wipe them you still wont get all the dirt off the ball crack. Then you grease them and push it in.

Hard to find these. Woman thought i was weird on the phone talking about rubbers and nipples. Haha

I remembered on my KTM bike it had these on it. So i got them from a local KTM dealer.

I installed the northstar axys vent kit. The tiny vent in cap can get plugged with moisture, snow, ice, water. Then your motor will be running lean because the vacuum in tank making it hard for oil pump to suck oil from tank. This vent kit will never fail.

Remove all panels and intake panel. 17/32 drill bit if you have one. 1/2 will work. just a little tighter. what i used. Put some thick grease on drill bit to catch shavings. I was worried about stuff getting into the tank but nothing did. It doesnt actually make much shavings.

Nice clean hole. Put the tight bushing in hole. put some WD40 on the nipple and turn it in.

route hose up and around. Tie it up with the other vent hose.

Install all the panels and your done.

Axassualt, I mounted the same windshield new in Dec 2015, maybe early Jan. I did use the push lock in the hole you skipped. For what it is worth, 2 years later now, the only gap I have is from the plastic trim on the windshield bottom edge. Maybe barely more than a 1/16 inch.

Heres the quick connect swaybar solution. No need for separate made link. Just get a black velcro strap instead. I just had a blue one laying around shop.

You can hook it up top with pin but im guessing it will rattle. May markup the bar vibrating also
